Cost & Environmentally Friendly Architecture
We are Eco Hub (Pty) Ltd
Worldwide there is a serious shortage of affordable housing. Not only a crisis of affordable housing but of environmental degradation and pollution causing climate change and global warming.
Construction as an industry comprises six to nine percent of the gross domestic product of developed countries. In general, there are three sectors of construction.
We remain true to the same principles on which our company was founded over a hundred years ago: providing superior service to our clients, putting safety first, creating opportunities for our people.
THE FIRST ECO-BRICK PROJECT
BUILDING BOTSWANA – ONE RECYCLED PLASTIC BRICK AT A TIME
In an effort to deliver affordable shelter whilst creating a greener Botswana, Eco Hub, a local start-up company supported by the Botswana Innovation Hub (BIH) whose eco-brick project was funded by the Botswana Innovation Fund (BIF), unveiled the first-ever eco-brick structure in the form of a pilot classroom at Lobatse Senior Secondary School. The classroom was officially handed over to Lobatse Senior Secondary School by the Minister of Tertiary Education, Research Science and Technology, Hon. Dr Douglas Letsholathebe.
